Connect-Abilities formed in 2010 for the purpose of providing service delivery systems focused solely on workforce development for individuals with disabilities and other life challenges. The Founders of Connect-Abilities have over 80 years of combined experience in the fields of Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Mental Health Services for adults and children, Welfare Reform, Social Security Benefits Analysis, Social Security Ticket to Work and Corporate Development for private business. We have directed programs for local, state and Federal government programs, as well as nonprofit agencies and charitable foundations, and have a working knowledge of each of these systems.
We believe that work is a central part of life and business is a central part of community. We believe that individuals should do what interests them and businesses should do what benefits their operations. We believe that education and training should be universally designed, driven by employers and offer career pathways that begin with functional skills.
